The Community Energy for Goulburn (CE4G) reported in early May:
“We have raised close to another $200k for the bigger battery but still need another $300k. So if you are interested in investing in this favourable climate of increasing wholesale prices, don’t delay. Our current budget projections are now looking very favourable as fossil fuels continue to increase in cost and more coal fired power stations are flagging. Start date for construction should be within 2 months and generation before the end of the year, all going to plan.”
The Orange Community Renewable Energy Park (OCREP) reported in late May:
“We are still looking for investors via the Energy Democracy Co-operative. We have not quite reached the capital raise milestone expected by the NSW Government. A further newsletter (will be sent out) … early next week.”
