Nayan is a dynamic professional who earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Engineering Management from Arizona State University, graduating with Academic Honors (cum laude). Driven by a quest for knowledge and innovation, he moved to Australia to pursue a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Systems, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
With a solid foundation in computer science, his proficiency spans across software development projects using a variety of programming languages. His passion lies in developing AI/ML solutions for any given problem statement.
Harrison is in his third year of a Bachelor of Advanced Computing (Research & Development) (Artificial Intelligence) and a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy & Economics at the ANU. Throughout his studies Harrison has worked in cross-disciplinary teams to tackle a variety of technical and policy problems.
He was the Competition Lead of ANU Solar Racing in 2022-2023, where he used weather and systems modelling tools to help navigate a solar-powered car across 3000km of Australian outback in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. He is excited to learn more about how weather data can be used in industry as an Intern Software Analyst.
We are excited to share that Louise Patterson, who started as our intern, is transitioning to a new role with the Australian Public Service.
Louise joined Exemplary Energy in early 2023 as an Intern Software Analyst. In her initial work, she engaged in programming statistical algorithms to disaggregate precipitation data. Later on, she played a role in the generation of weather and climate data for applications in engineering and architectural simulations. She was also involved in the analysis and reporting of this data, contributing to our monthly Exemplary Weather Energy (EWE) Index, blog articles, and materials for conference presentations.
In her new role, Louise aims to further develop the skills acquired during her time at Exemplary Energy, with a focus on advancing her data analysis proficiency. She also intends to draw on insights from her Exemplary Energy experience and new role to enrich her studies in renewable energy (major) and computer science (minor) as she advances through her undergraduate Engineering degree at the Australian National University.
“I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to have started my professional journey with Exemplary Energy, where I was able to learn, grow, and build the foundation for my career.” – Louise
