Exemplary Energy has already developed XMYs (eXtreme Meteorological Years) for fixed flat-plate solar energy systems, most notably solar PhotoVoltaics (PV) and published the results through the APSRC last December.
We are now working on XMYs for Condensation and Water Penetration [XMY(CWP)] in collaboration with the University of Tasmania and industry and on XMYs for Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning [XMY(HVAC)] with very interesting preliminary results with respect to the effects of climate change being already apparent. We will keep readers informed of these developments as they progress.
